About Pacific Pride Festival

The Pacific Pride Festival is directed by an all-volunteer committee that works closely with Pacific Pride Foundation to produce Santa Barbara's only major Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgendered, and Queer Pride celebration. The festival returned to Santa Barbara in 2007 after a 6 year hiatus to greet thousands of revelers, and it has been a popular hit in the community ever since. The 2011 event promises to be more successful than ever!

The Festival culminates a week long Pride Week celebration, which the Committee hopes will bring together our community and help sew love, peace, and unity in Santa Barbara. Check out the online calenar for the very latest schedule of Pride events in the lush American Riviera.

The steering committee works hard year round with sponsors, donors, community leaders, and Pacific Pride Foundation, but we can only produce the festival and the many fundraisers it takes to put it on with the help of supportive volunteers. Local Pride events are more relevant today than ever given the increased focus on the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgendered communities in recent years---particularly in California---and we need your help more than ever to make sure that Santa Barbara's Pride event flourishes.
